Bhante Jayasara
Bhikkhu Jayasara, ("Bhante J" ) was ordained in 2016 at the age of 37 by Bhante Gunaratana and lived at the same monastery for five and a half years with him. As a Theravadha American monk, he has dedicated his life to spreading the Teaching of the Buddha and has led retreats across the country for over four years. Bhante J specializes in showing how the original Teachings of the Buddha is practical, pragmatic, and applicable by modern people in the modern world, using his previous experiences as a career-oriented professional before becoming a monk.
